Jørgen Honoré

Jørgen Honoré was born in 1953. In 1977, he received his MSc in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. In 1981, he obtained a BCom (Bachelor of Commerce) in Organisation from Copenhagen Business School. His latest academic achievement is a Master of Public Administration from Copenhagen Business School.


In 2007, Jørgen Honoré was appointed University Director of University of Copenhagen. Prior to his job at the University, Jørgen Honoré was University Director at the Technical University of Denmark. He held this position from 2002 through 2007. Before 2002, he was Vice Director of Risoe National Laboratory for four years.

Besides being University Director, Jørgen Honoré holds a number of honorary positions. He is Member of the Board of CVU University College Øresund and PBH Holding. Jørgen Honoré is also a member of the Danish Academy of Technical Science.
